- Forged stainless steel blade. It is hardened to ca. 48-52 ° HRC Rockwell, then well-tempered and hand-polished. The blade is etched with ''US AIR FORCE ACADEMY''. The acid-etch is so deep one can feel it with a fingernail. Length ca. 76 cm / 30 inch.
- Guard:
- Solid brass casting with Air Force logo. Antique silver-plated, lacquered, hand-polished.
- Grip:
- Nickel-silver alloy, antique silver-plated, .lacquered
- Scabbard:
- Nickel-plated and hand-polished steel tube with antique silver-plated, fittings.lacquered
